Import orders from a spreadsheet
Bring many orders into FOM at once from an Excel or CSV file, in the mobile app.
Use this to move orders from a spreadsheet you kept before FOM, or to add many orders at once.
Before you start
- You need the Owner or Manager role, and a paid plan (not the free trial).
- Import is in the mobile app.
- Files can be
.xlsxor.csv, up to 5 MB and 5,000 rows.
In the app, go to More → Settings → Data Exports. The screen is Data Import & Export.
On the Order Import card, tap Template to get a sample file with the right columns.
Fill it in: one row per item. Rows with the same order_ref become one order. FOM gives each order a new order number.
Tap Import file and choose your file. FOM imports it in the background and tells you how many orders were created.

A CSV exported from FOM's orders can be imported again.
