Connect Telegram
Create a Telegram bot with @BotFather and connect it, so customers can message your shop on Telegram.
Customers message your shop through a Telegram bot. You create the bot in Telegram, then give FOM its token.
Before you start
You must be the shop Owner or a Manager, and your plan needs a free channel (see Add-ons).
1. Create a bot in Telegram
In Telegram, open a chat with @BotFather (the official bot with a blue tick).
Send /newbot. Give the bot a name (for example your shop's name) and a username ending in bot.
BotFather replies with a token, a long code like 123456789:AA…. Copy it. Keep it private: anyone with it can control the bot.
2. Connect it to FOM
Open Integrations in the sidebar.
On the Telegram card, paste the token into Telegram bot token.
Click Connect Telegram.
Share your bot's link (t.me/yourbotname) on your page so customers can start a chat.
"Telegram bot token is required" or the token is rejected
Copy the whole token from BotFather, with no spaces. If you created a new token with /revoke, the old one no longer works.
