Who FOM is for
Shops that take orders in chat and need more than a notebook or a spreadsheet to keep up.
FOM is for shops that sell through chat: customers find you on Facebook, TikTok or a group, then order by messaging your page or bot.
You'll get the most from FOM if
- Orders arrive as chat messages, often split across several messages.
- You copy orders into a notebook, spreadsheet or notes app today, and sometimes miss one.
- You collect cash on delivery (COD) and need to know what is still owed.
- More than one person answers chats or packs orders, and you want each to see only what they need.
- You want to know how the shop is doing by day, week and month without counting by hand.
Example shops
| Shop | How FOM helps |
|---|---|
| A clothing page with sizes and colours | Products with options keep the right price and stock for each size and colour. |
| A cosmetics seller with repeat buyers | Customers are found by phone, with their order history and address ready. |
| A food or bakery page with daily deliveries | Today's deliveries in one list, assigned to the person who delivers them. |
| A shop with 3–5 staff | Each person signs in with their own account and role; the owner sees who changed what. |
Who uses which part
- Owner: sets up the shop, connects channels, invites staff, pays the subscription, reads reports.
- Staff: answer chats, make and confirm orders, follow up with customers.
- Dispatcher: moves orders out for delivery and marks them delivered.
- Support and Analyst: answer customers, or read reports and export data.
Roles are explained in detail in the user manual. Owners can also make custom roles.
