Troubleshooting
Channel connection issues
What to do when Messenger, Telegram or Viber won't connect or stops receiving messages.
Open Integrations to see each channel's status: Connected, Not connected, Add-on required or Reconnect. Connection status and troubleshooting shows when the channel last received a message.
Messenger
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Messenger connect was cancelled or rejected by Meta | Try again and allow every permission FOM asks for. You must be an admin of the Page. |
| Messages stopped arriving | Click Reconnect and select the same Page. This happens after a Facebook password change or when Page access was removed. |
| Meta says: … | Facebook rejected the request; the message explains why. Fix it on Facebook, then reconnect. |
Telegram
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Telegram bot token is required | Paste the token from @BotFather. |
| Unable to connect Telegram right now (e.g. "Unauthorized") | The token is wrong or was revoked. Copy it again from @BotFather and reconnect. |
Viber
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Viber auth token is required | Paste the authentication token from the Viber dashboard. |
| Webhook or "not reachable" errors | Try again in a few minutes. If it continues, contact us. |
"The included channel is already used"
Your plan's channel is in use. Disconnect the other channel, or add an extra channel.
Error messages in English
Some messages from Facebook, Telegram or Viber are only in English, even when FOM is in Myanmar.
